Import Data

Two types of data power SettleCase: your settlement history (closed cases — seeds the yield engine) and your active cases (open matters — populates your demand queue).

🔒
How We Handle Your Data
SettleCase.ai never stores client names, dates of birth, addresses, social security numbers, or medical provider names. Every CSV you upload is scanned for protected information before a single row touches our database. PHI columns are detected, flagged, and permanently discarded at ingestion. Only anonymized case metrics — injury type, financial amounts, insurer, and outcome — are stored to power your yield engine.
✓ PHI column detection on every upload ✓ Client names hashed to anonymous claim refs ✓ Audit receipt generated after every import Full data practices →
Why this matters

Your settlement history is the most accurate predictor of what your next case will settle for — not industry averages. Import your last 12 months of closed cases. Every future settlement you log automatically feeds the engine.

Step 1 — Download the Template

Pre-labeled CSV with 5 sample rows showing exactly what we need.

Step 2 — Upload Your File

Filevine, NEOS, SmartAdvocate exports all work — we map columns automatically.

What are Active Cases?

These are your open matters — clients who haven't settled yet and may be ready for a demand letter. Import them to populate your Demand Queue, where SettleCase will AI-score each one for demand readiness and help you generate letters.

Step 1 — Download Active Case Template

Different fields than settlement history — includes insurer, status, open date.

Step 2 — Export from Your CRM

How to export active cases from each CRM:

Filevine Reports → Cases → filter Status = Pre-Demand → Export CSV
NEOS Advanced Search → Cases → filter Status = Active → Export CSV
Law Ruler Reports → Case Report → filter Status = Active → Export CSV

Step 3 — Upload Active Cases CSV

Cases will appear in your Demand Queue for AI readiness scoring.
